From Toulon- St Tropez airport (currently served via Ryanair from Stanstead - www.ryanair.com ) leave the airport entrance taking the last exit at roundabout following the signed directions to La Londe, St Tropez, Les Salins - the sea will be on your right, continue in the same direction for about 2 miles, on entering the 'ville' of Les Salins look for the sign directing you to turn left to La Londe & Le Lavandou (D12), follow the road and once you have past the first sharp right hand bend then look for signs on your left advertising HYERES MARINE in blue and GAPORT in red, turn into the entrance and then immediate right, follow road until you reach the green remote controlled gate, when through the gate turn immediate right and follow the tarmac road until you reach third from last unit at the far end ( number 55)- written on the shutter lock it says 'Boat House', park on the far right to keep the road clear for boat movements, you may find it useful to have a small torch if arriving in the dark.
Should you ever get 'lost' then drive south towards the sea, once in the Hyeres area look for one of the many signs to the airport and then pick up directions from there
If you want to drive then it's 735 miles from Calais, the fastest route is by toll motorway, cross by www.seafrance.com it will then be a minimum of 12 hours driving. There are a number of routes by road, the simplest being by toll motorway Calais-Reims-Troyes-Beaune-Dijon-Lyon-Orange-Avignon-Aix-Le Luc-Hyeres or for a more scenic route but 100miles longer Calais-Paris-Orleans-Clermont Ferrand-Millau (crossing on the highest road bridge in the world)-Montpelier-Aix-Le Luc-Hyeres- some of this route is toll free.
You can also travel Eurostar/TGV to Toulon (approx. 9 hours)
